The Maxwell RSC 48 Instrument is a platform for automated purification of nucleic acid from a range of sample types. The purification methods use sample lysis and binding to paramagnetic particles as the primary separation principle. Up to 48 samples can be prepared simultaneously. The Maxwell RSC 48 Instrument is controlled by a graphical user interface running on a tablet PC. The instrument is supplied with a Bar Code reader for easier sample tracking and method runs.
