Temerty Faculty of Medicine - Shipping & Receiving

The Shipping and Receiving Department is located on the first floor of the Medical Science Building, we receive packages and parcels vital for scientific research, we are committed to helping you find solutions for all your shipping and receiving needs, no matter how small or large your packages.

Please use the Receiving address rather than your own to ensure entry at this location:

Receiving staff will notify lab members electronically when a delivery is received, so please include relevant contact info in your delivery address.

If your supplier provides online tracking, it should indicate delivery status as well. Some apps also provide universal parcel tracking across couriers.

What is our responsibility?

  • The process of shipping and receiving.
  • Assist with the planning of courier shipments.
  • Handle the arrival of packages and arrange them in the Medical Science Building, Terrence Donnelly Center for Cellular & Biomolecular Research, and Rosebrugh and Mining Building, C. David Naylor Building
  • Advice on courier services that are available in Canada and internationally.

Lab members will collect deliveries from the "breezeway" corridor behind MedStore. Lab members are responsible for collecting deliveries ASAP as we have limited storage capacity

Receiving staff will store any temperature sensitive parcels as needed.
MedStore is not responsible for lost or damaged goods that remain unclaimed after three months.

If you are expecting a large shipment (on pallet or skids) please use the loading dock scheduler to book your delivery, this will ensure that the appropriate space and assistance will be provided to the carrier:
